The front drive shaft seems to turn but no movment with the front wheels. I guess it is a problem in the differential. I dont know what i need so im looking for a diagram to show the parts in the differential. An exploded veiw would be great. i just would like to know what things are suposed to look like so i dont have to buy something that isnt broken or wore out.

I would first, change the actuater that screws into the front diff. They are notorios for failing and when they do, the front axle will not lock

well it would be easier to diagnose If I knew the year of your truck. I am assuming that your truck has auto locking hubs, and with that I will tell you that they are usually vacuum actuated. the actuators have either probably gone bad or you have a vacuum leak/ broken vacuum line. I would put the truck on blocks put it in gear and see if the front half shafts turn without turning the tires to confirm this.
