On my CD drive it says "Compact Disc Rewritable High Speed 32x12x40x" but on the CDRW it says "Compact Disc Rewritable Ultra Speed 24x"

It sounds like your CD's and your drive are not compatible. The discs are - and perhaps the drive is +. You need to check the information on your drive to see what format it needs. :>

ok that is a file system eror when u downloaded the cdRW u should reinstall the CD RW cd and when it starts to download the informations it'l ask for remove or fix (repair0 u click repair and it'll repair ur whole CD RW information and will work(first option)
second option:
if taht didn't work u call the store where u get it and tell about this problem and they should change ur CD RW
