Nobody knows the exact number, but to give you some perspective it is accepted that there are more stars than there are grains of sand on the Earth.

Alot...
but alot of the stars you see now are probably dead...and you can't see the new ones because of how far light has to travel.
Therefore...you can't really count all the stars. Unless you could travel around to every single one with the speed of a mouse click
