wow, so China, Korea (probably the North), the UK, france, and Australia are the world now. Looks like it is time to take over what is left America since they are not countries. Not everyone from those countriese hate us, plus France is one of them, who fricken' cares? Look, sure for the sake of argument they are justified in hating America but i mean, i don't care neither do a lot of the people of America. I doubt all of the UK hates America unless somehow you have managed to ask every single person there. I am obviously from America, i have met a lot of foreign exchange students who drastically change their view when they see the whole picture and not just what their media is painting for them. So if they are brainwashed by their media, then yes, they are justified

Ireland.
The world doesn't hate the USA. It seems to be a fashionable thing for Americans to believe. Most countries in the EU are heavily allied with America (Britain, Ireland, Poland...) with only a few against.
America's foreign policy is clearly to blame for the antipathy shown by the Arab world. The invasion of Afghanistan was necessary and justified but "Operation Iraqi liberty" (or whatever you Americans call it) was ridiculous. America's unwavering support for Israel is also disturbing at times.
The religious right in America put the country on the receiving end of much scorn and ridicule from more enlightened countries.

I am from the US but I live in China and I am white. The world is justified in hating the US by the heavy-handed approach we take to smaller countries, our interference in domestic affairs, our support of dictators, our aggressiveness, our racial problems, and the puzzlement over American Affairs such as how 11 million illegals could enter the US when a new agency Homeland Security was implemented to control the flow of terrorists. We wonder also how the US can dictate to other nations such as Australia to whom they can sell their oil, we wonder if they are so astute at being the world policemen why they can't control drug smuggling. We wonder why they allowed India to develop nuclear weapons and react violently to Iran and North Korea. We wonder why they throw money around without any major accomplishments. Beginning with the Korean war, and followed quickly by Vietnam, the US military strategy has accomplished little but death without resolving the problems of those countries. We wonder why the US feels impelled to invade others for self-serving purposes.

The entire world doesn't hate USA. The media portrays it that way. Sure, there are a lot of people who resent some of the decisions that the US government has made as leaders of the free world... and there are idiots from US that go overseas and make a fool of themselves and makes us look bad... but I think most people like US and don't look down on the avg citizens here. (I'm from US, but have friends in China, Germany, Australia, Japan, Singapore, France, England, and they all say something similar).

I'm from the Netherlands, and let me begin to state that the world doesn't hate the US. We do not like the current government, though, that tries to impose it's will on the world even though the US represents only 5% of the world population.

We also look in amazement how easily many Americans make assumptions on other nations without the least bit of knowledge about them.

India and we hate it too for obvious reasons... They are blowing up country after country and trying to armtwist us into accepting their policies be it nuclear energy or liberalization... what sectors we should subsidise and what not. What business do they have in telling us how we should run our country?

Our priorities are decided by our people through a democratic process. Why under the sun should Bush meddle with them?

India.
those who hate somebody generally have good justification.
i feel a lot of people hate USA. personally i do. my justification?
1. USA invades and occuppies other countries on false pretexts.
look at the mess in iraq. no WMDs. and they have a thriving 'democracy' going there! USA has no business in iraq.
2. they talk democracy in russia or ukrain. what about hamas in lebenon?
3. support an israel in killing labanese civilians with banned weapons. be it depleted uranium or cluster bombs. USA was supplying weapons to israel when civilians were being murdered.
list is endless. read your news online.

USA. Hate us or not, I say let's start shaking them off of our teats; end the foreign aid - it breeds resentment, causes laziness that stifles the locals and is thievery from me.

If the world hated America, everyone wouldn't be trying to live here.
Leave us alone and we'll leave you alone. Stay in your own country.
