Try using the bleach pen by clorox. It works with small areas and also has a brush in for scrubbing.. Then wipe away all of the bleach with a white towel or paper towel and then wash the hat under warm water to remove the dirt.

I find that Greased Lightening & a scrub brush gets out many stains, even set-in ink stains on clothing. Also for carpet & pet stains Woolite has two good products. The bleach pen may also be a good idea. Also, you can get a plastic cap frame and wash your hat in the top rack of a dish washer or in the washing machine on gentle cycle.

Use some clorox on a rag and dab it, if this doesn't work, then use some greased lightening on it.

DEPENDS ON THE MATERIAL - YOU COULD TRY TO SPRINKLE ON SOME POWDER (BABY POWDER OR FLOUR) TO COVER THE STAINS. (DO YOU KNOW WHAT STAINS THEY ARE ??)
