Height 15 inches and width 20. There's no set size on the length. There's an adjustment on the baler itself that can alter the length of the bale.

Between balers there might not be regular / uniform dimensions of a bale. It depends on what size the baler was set to and what method of tying the baler uses. example : bales tied with wire can be bigger and heavier than bales tied with twine. On average however, in my experience, a bale of hay is about three feet long, 1.5 to 2 feet tall and 2 feet wide.

15 inches by 20-23 inches by 36-48" long. 40-100 pounds each.
I estimated 18x18x36 as a somewhat average size -- ignoring weight because I want to know how many bales I can store, by volume, not weight, in a 12x24x8' storage barn. By volume, 329 bales. It's an estimate. Certainly the size (and weight) of "small square bales" varies widely.

About 2 X 2 X 36 and the average weight is between 65-80 pounds of good quality hay that is bailed tightly.

Small rectangular hay normally comes in 30-45 lbs squares.
