Actually I turn to "sleeper" mode when I sleep at night, but after one and a half hour when the radio stops, I would turn it to "sleeper" mode again, this repeat one or two times a night, it this dangerous? Would the hi-fi burn on fire?

No, it isn't dangerous. Its alot better than recharging your laptop or notebook these days.

If your radio is switched on during the night, it is connected to the electrical field and it could provoke a fire. But it's not the only danger: you are permanently in the electromagnetic field, generated by the radio, or the tv set or the computer. And that is also dangerous.

You actually are hurting yourself more then radio. You are training your ears to not hear at night. This is a safety issue. You might not hear a burgular or a fire in your house because you are using the radio to mask the sounds.
