Infante was ready and able to take over for Polanco, I think it was kind of a slap in his face to bring in Perez, and Perez hasn't impressed me at all...What do you think?

Neifi Perez played in KC for 2 years, so I'm familiar with him...I just didn't like the way the guy plays the game...He does play better than average defense, but, he's a total waste as a hitter..The move to pick up Sean Casey was a great move, the one for Perez, I really don't understand...

Omar Infante fills a valuable roll as the Tigers utility man, that roll is a lot more important than most give credit...

perez can play defense really good. he bats better than infante! placido polanco, perez is not but he is good and tiger fans should be glad to get him. he has been known to get real hot with the bat in spurts.

Sports are all about winning at the professional level. I wonder to if messing with team chemistry is the proper thing to do? After all if infonte is going to be among the main core of players in the future this may give hiom a reason to look elsewhere if he feels undervalued.

I think the coach is trying to get the team to mesh no matter who is playing.
He is trying to make it so that they are more versatile and building the teams morale.
But I agree Perez has to go to work and get better.
