I know this back woods family that has a lot of stupid sayings and superstitions, and here's one of them: If you fry a raw chicken leg, with the thigh attached, it is a curse and will bring death and destruction down upon the heads of the family! What a bunch of idiots!! We all fry chicken legs like that! I like to fry them crispy, then load them with barbecue sauce!

A very old russian superstition, that you have to burn the pad from your first day period each month. And I mean burn it, like put it on fire and scatter the ashes. They say that it prevents evil from finding you. Some of my friends did it, and still do!

Mine is I wont drink my nice hot cup of tea with out a spoon I think it bad luck. Grandma said it was so I've alway have a spoon!

well....me from india...so like evry action u do has sum superstition r the thr atached to it....nd al o em r weird.....sum o em r here.......u bang into sum1s head by mistake...u gotta do it again else u'l get horns...lol.....while passin salt never let d person tak it frm ur hand...u'l hav a fight....dont giv pens as gifts...kils friendships......if u get hiccups...sum1s thinkin o u.....u cant goto a temple wen its dt time o d month...sum very traditional ppl go as far as not alowin d female into d house...she has to sit out...imagine...

I never open an umbrella indoors. Because my mother said that her grandmother was sick in a hospital and was laying in bed, and for whatever reason opening and closing an umbrella. Then my mom said she died. I know it sounds silly it's just something that I never do.
