oops, sorry. what i meant by grown-up cheryl is the 7-yr old version. she disappears when harry crashed the car, but we never see her again in the end.

Grown up Cheryl moved up away with her dad to escape the Order. Cheryl was renamed Heather, and they took the surnames Morris to avoid detection. However, a few years later - the Order catches up with them and plans to capture Heather (Cheryl) and bring her back to Silent Hill. This is the new story for the Silent Hill 3 game.
