I live in Florida - it rains daily and requires weekly cutting. It is cheaper to do myself but I don't have time. It's a small front and back yard in a subdivision

depends on the equipment and quality of service. . . I worked with a 3 or 4 man crew with mild industrial sized mowers and we charged around $1 per minute. . . . sounds expensive, but we could knock out a normal residential yard in 20-30 min. easy

Our yard that we maintain is done by a professional landscape service. They mow, trim and general pickup for $75.00 weekly. The area is almost three acres. They do an exceptional job and is well worth the money spent weekly. We can go on vacation and leave it to them. And, we certainly enjoy life so much more, without any worry.

My lot is 85X120 feet-(with the house in the middle) I get mowed, weedwhacked, bagged (which I stopped) and "blown"/swept from concrete-- for $30 a week-- weeks I want the lawn to grow they weed flower beds or cut back shrubs and hedge and/or move heavy stuff. I'm happy.

It depends on how many trees you have and how big your lawn is. It also depends on the market around you. I have a half acre with two trees and it is $45 a week. If I were you, I would call or email a local company and ask them for a estimate. Hope this helps.

Your question is very general. You never mentioned how much property you own. I suggest you ask some of your neighbors if they have a yard service and about what they pay.

Call your local fire station. A lot of firemen do lawn work on the side and they can come out and give estimate. Also ask neighbors about who they use..
