not me... but you'd be surprised dogfishperson
Not being funny but tampax and pantyliner adverts on telly really piss me off. I don't give a **** if some bird is more comfortable whilst riding a horse if she is fitted with always ultra or not. The last straw was the other day when a jamrag company sent me a trial panty liner address to me.. "Mr". They're either having a laugh or they haven't programmed their computers to Differentiate. Either way I got my wife to sample it and I sent it back to em with a note saying.... "No ta".
They are usefull commodities for you ladies I have no doubt. But surely buying them is routine. The advertisers can quite literally ram it up themselves as far as the Citygent is concerned. The Gent has spoken.

Yes but these are the people who brought us 'Tampax compax - made to go unnoticed' but with the advert being on every 5 mins on every single channel, i don't think it is unnoticed anymore!!
Its just so stupid that they have to advertise it everywhere! i got a pop up on the computer the other day about them! i could of been my nanna who's 78 or my dad!!!
If we want them we will buy them we don't need the advertisements shoved down our throats!!!!

I thought my husband was having a laugh when he told me about this ad.
I can see why scented pantyliners aren't a bad idea, but I agree with all the rest of you that said scented things in "there" could irritate... No doubt they're more pricey too!

They do that so you won't smell like blood when you have your period! It's not a good scent! That's optional, you could use the other kind also. Check the store and see what kind you like best! Oh yeah and I hope no one is smelling down there.

Maybe its psychological..smell nice = you will smell nice too and to do with a part of the body we want to smell nice..probably another ad for women devised by a man....as if we aren't hygenic enough...wonder what they use to get the smell as its worrying putting something inside your body that has added scents, chemicals etc...

my sentiments exactly. the advert and concept are stupid.
it could be dangerous as putting chemicals in your vagina could cause, and does cause, allergic reactions which can actually kill you.
when you use a tampon, there is very little if any odour, as the fluid remains inside your body. so where's the point in having scented tampons? scented loo roll is just as pointless: it aint gonna smell too good once you've used it, is it? lol....
talk about ridiculous marketing ploys...
grrrrrr, lol.

the mind boggles, and another thing, why does a man do the voice over on the ad? since when do men know anything about periods?

good point!! actually i used to used scented panty liners, they were quite pleasant. When you remove your undies , a nice fresh smell wafts towards you.
