I can't think of a way. If it was me and I had been able to communicate with the party and all of a sudden I couldn't hear from them after a few attempts over a short period of time I would quit trying as I would get the message they were sending me.It would be up to them to get in touch with me and after they explained why they had not replied to my messages I would decide whether to start back communicating with them or not.

There are a few sites...just google them. Look up "MSN Status Check"...now...they're not really accurate, because depending on the settings the person has...the program may not be able to retrieve the real status of the user.
