Some scientists are just stupid i guess. Pluto has been in our solar system for centuries now. All the text books and information sources will have to b changed.

Geez I don't know what I'm gonna do! For seventeen years I've taught my students the acronym phrase "My Very Eager Mother Just Served Us Nine Pizzas" to help them memorize the planets in order. (Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto) Now there's no Pluto! Gonna have to change my phrase and it's soooooo ingrained in me, I'll NEVER be able to shake it.
Pluto has been considered a planet since 1930 for Pete's sake! There must be a lot of people who feel pretty strongly about it too- I did a quick search and already found over 200 t-shirt designs on this site alone: http://www.cafepress.com/buy/pluto?pid=5720193 Save Pluto!!!!

Everything that orbits our sun (and that still includes Pluto regardless of how it is labeled) is a part of our sun's "family". Read more about the minor bodies in our solar system, it'll cheer you up.
And take heart that the New Horizons probe will still be passing by close to Pluto with all its cameras and instruments. Pluto is neither gone, nor is it going to be forgotten.

Yes. Those mean old scientists are just punishing Pluto because they thought it was getting uppity.
Sometimes it even tried to sneak in closer to the sun than Neptune, which messed up their little mnemonic device for memorizing the location of the planets.
By the way, they were wrong to call it a dwarf planet. Pretty soon, to be politically correct, they will have to call it a little planet, or go all the way to planetoid.

Pluto was my favorite planet. I thought it was a fun planet because it was named after Micky Mouse's dog. I think they were disrespectful to Walt Disney and all the Pluto fans to pull such a mean, nasty trick. I miss Pluto.

My thoughts exactly! Will all the problems and turmoil in the world, why in the he!! are people wasting precious time, money and energy on deciding to disinherit Pluto as one of our planets. Too bad we can't all pack up and move there and get away from this insanity.

I was taught in school that Pluto was the very last planet in our solar system. For them to all of a sudden up and decide to remove it is insane. It will ALWAYS be a planet to me, regardless.
