I have saved photos into My Picture folder prefixed by numbers so that they stay in sequence. My slideshow here is perfect. They all show in order. However when I save them to CD they come out in the wrong order in a slideshow - numbers 20 -29 folllows number 1 then comes number 2 and then 30-39 etc. I considered using the alphabet to prefix the names but this will only work up until the 26th photo. Any better ideas?

My mind went blank on the terminology for this system.
CPUs and libraries use it.
1.0
1.01
1.02
1.03 to 1.09, 1.10, etc.
You could segment the "subjects" by going to, 2.0,3.0,to 9.0-9.9.etc.
I've never tried this but it may do the job.
I have found that whole numbers do not always sort in order in spread sheet software.

As previously mentioned number them but take note that 10 comes before 2 in a numbered list, so use a leading zero -
01, 02 .... 09, 10, 11 etc

After you get done with the first 26 letters try using AA BB CC etc.
