Just give her Farleys Rusks, they are yummy!!!
I am in my fortys and still have them now and then.
(Has to be original though, not that low sugar rubbish.)
Yum, yum, yum!

i think its alittle early for those kinda cereals but you can get baby cereals from tesco, boots, etc. you just add warm water or baby milk to it and it goes down a treat. the come in all sorts of flavours too, my son used to love banana sunrise.
don't forget though if you are giving cereal don't use cows milk as babys digestive systems aren't really ready for dairy products until they're about 1yr old

Check cereals for salt and sugar content. I was advised not to give ready break as it has salt in it. The first cereal I gave my son was weetabix, but not at six months, he was still on baby foods. The first food you should introduce is baby rice, its more filling and bland for baby's taste buds and not heavy on the bowels or other organs.
Buy baby rice, first.

yes you can feed your baby anything really now she has the taste for solids just watch for the sugar and salt levels. you do get advised to give the baby rice but my son just wouldn't take to it and has been having solids which i have made from 6 months his first meal was Christmas dinner and it has never done him any harm. You know your baby and you know what is best for her.

it wouldnt be advisable to give your baby ready break and porridge..these may contain higher levels of salt and vitimins etc..you can buy boxes of porridge made for babies they cost less than £2.00 and you make up as much as you need.it wont hurt your baby to have 3 meals a day maybe smaller portions as long as they are still having their milk and a drink of cool boiled water (maybe with a little juice in)

Its usually advisable to wait till 12mnths before introducing grain because sensitivity or allergy may develop. Have you tried baby rice. Its a grain but is less aggressive for little tummies that are just learning to digest foods. Try mashed banana, apple, or pear too. Babies love fruit and it can be added to rice. Hope this helps. Btw, I fed 3 babies so I've been thru it! Good luck. Whatever you give her, she'll adapt so don't worry.

I did. In fact, my doctor suggested to mix the cereal with her formula and suggested that that be the FIRST food that I give her, so if she is already eating other foods, then yes go ahead, give her the porridge.

No, it is okay to give her cereals I am pretty sure she is going to love it I started giving all five of my kids hot cereals at 4 months and are all healthy. Their doctor recommended that I try it early.

Try only alittle at a time and only try a new cereal every three days so you can make sure there is no allergic reaction. Good Luck!
