When you Battery dies you usually have to pay like 60 bucks, but since you bought the 2 year warranty, you just have the call aple using the 1800 number and they will replace it for free. You could get this number in the apple web page.

I think that you can just replace the battery, open it up, and see, if you can get a replacement battery.

Apple will restoration it for loose and that they do no longer charge you. They deliver you a clean ipod. The Sansa sucks - i could rather persist with the iPod. Apple has rather solid shopper provider.

well, have you tried recharging it by plugging it into your computer?
If that does not work, take it back to the place you purchased it with the warranty.
