Okay - planets that fit the new category of a full-fledged planet are: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.

Next, you have Pluto that is a dwarf planet. Other space objects that fall into the same category as Pluto are, Ceres (an asteroid), 2003 UB313 (another icy space object like Pluto sometimes called Xena), Sedna (another Pluto-like object) and 11 more objects that are being considered as dwarf planets.

Now, the fun stuff comes when you learn about extra-solar planets that being discovered - planets outside of our solar system. Even though they are usually gas giants, it is still pretty cool to find new planets!

Boy, it depends on when youj ask the question, doesn't it. Astronomers look pretty stupid these days. A few weeks ago, there were nine, last week there were 12, heading for "over a hundred". This week there are eight, but all the news stories seem to be conviently forgetting the 12 decision.

Haha. Wow. i could no longer think of yelling any of those names out of the window to call my youngster in for dinner. For a boy, Mars may be the main proper. i might only call him "Mar" as a nickname. Mars Jupiter may be his first and center call. for a woman, Venus would not be thoroughly off the wall, on account that there's a tennis participant named Venus Williams. i might only call her Vee or Vena. Venus Neptune may be her first and center call. relaxing question! BQ: Sophia is truthfully stunning! it extremely is stunning for a baby and state-of-the-artwork for an grownup. i like it! Is Clarke the final call? if so, Sophia flows suited with it. If it extremely is the middle call, i might flow with something female.
