Uranium (like all elements heavier than iron) is created during a supernova explosion. As the debris accumulates to form new stars and planets, the uranium comes with it.

God originally made uranium when he caused stars to go nova and combine heavy nucleus of atoms together. This is how elements are made. Those lighter than iron are made in the stars in thermonuclear reactions. Heavier than iron are created in novas and super novas and blown out into the galaxies to produce other stars and planets.
