try karaoke in a pub full of nasty people who boo and hiss good singers off stage , try chatting up a beautiful stranger, parachuting , bungee jumping , cheating , ice swimming and more confidence testing things then perhaps you can say your a very confident person in a few years time, have no fear...... confidence is difficult to measure, it will all depend on a situation where you have a chance to do something or not, stupid or clever , intelligent or not so wise...... it may or may not bring certain opportunities in life and that is what we all want , opportunities

I'd have to say 9, of course at 49 I should know who I am by now and I may not have ALL I what out of life but then again I'm still going after it. I have accomplished a good many goals I've set for myself. With 2 grown daughters and 5 Grandkids, I still have my health, and a great job, I've traveled to Germany and across the US. Been to most amusement parks in the US and rode every ride, at least once. I've wrestled a bear and went deep sea fishing. Oh, there's a lot more I've done but more I still want to do. I hope, by the time I retire at 70, that my health will still be with me so I can reach my ultimate goal of retiring on a deserted island

That's two questions!

Who I am - 9/10 (although this will probably go up when the paternity test is returned)
What I want - 2/10, 7/10, 6/10, 10,10 (This depends on which of my multiple personalities you are asking. I think these came about by a lifelong insecurity based on not knowing who my father was.

Bu99er!!! - Who I am has now dropped to a 3/10 - I can feel someone else coming through!

I don't think there is an absolute figure for total confidence of a person, you can be confident in different situations.

E.g. at work I am superconfident as I am well liked and do my job well and am comfortable that I know what I am doing.

In relationships I generally have no confidence, feel insecure and haven't got a clue what I am doing!!!

But I have done other pretty adventurous things which need confidence, like travel around the world, scuba dive and sky dive!

At age 61... having lived my life almost to completion... having learned that we do not get exactly what we want... but mostly get what we truly need... and that should be enough...

Having had my prayers for safely raising my six children to an adult life rewarded... who could ask for more than this, since we are born to procreate?

I am content with just enough for me, given that our world is filled with far more needy people, so... I am, 100% OK with who and what I am... and what I have... but, thank you for asking;-)
