War and hate spread like wildfire. I hope more stable minds step up and stop this madness. I think the majority of people in the Mid East would rather just live and let live, but governments think their destiny is to change the world.
Religion and politics just isn't a good combination!
I think the threat of being totally destroyed will stop this, and nothing short.

I think it will quickly escalate to World War III because there are too many serious issues right now. People keep talking about oil but let's cut to the big stuff: terrorism, nuclear capabilities, dangerous people ruling as North Korea has as just one example! There will be no lasting peace in the middle east until the Lord returns.

Yes. Religious zealots on both sides will never be persuaded by logic and reason. The only God that America seems to worship any more is money and oil. Both sides will continue to fight because they believe that God is on their side. If it wasn't for the almighty dollar and big oil profits, the US would probably stay out of it.

Yes, because they've been fighting over the same bloody things, over the same dirty piece of "holy" land for the last 2000 years. Its seen more bloodshed than any other place on earth, and its still holy?? Not likely. Things will not change there, its just the way it is. Powers will shift and move, alliances will change and grow, and die, and they will still all be fighting one another.

Fighting in the middle east has always been there. There just weren't cameramen and news stations there before taking pictures of every step they make. Now aren't you glad you know.

Yes I do. Nuclear problems, oil, differences in religion. It's been going on for thousands of years. Once it got started by morons like Ben Laden it will be nearly impossible to stop. Radicals don't want it to stop until they are gone from the face of the earth.
