It used to be that sex was necessary to propogate our species. However, now, techno-biology has surplanted the sexual act. So, no, sex is not truly necessary - some people have medically based, extremely low sex drives, and other people have spiritually transcended all forms of sexual acts, but for the most part, the sexual urges and pleasure from sexual gratification are too overwhelming to ultimately ignore.

Sex is not only a necessity, but it is a true fact of life. you need it to stay sane. Sex is what makes us chemically balanced.... I need it... you need it.... everyone who is old enough to receive it legally should get it... TWO consenting adults......That's great sex that is....
