Well if you want to be a good little philosopher you would say either
A)No nothing exists for sure or
B) Can't tell, all I know is that I exist
However a more practical answer is that, of course luck exists. Luck isn't something like fate that has varying definitions. Luck is just a word created by humans to describe moments when things go well or go poorly.
In other words, what is debatable is not whether you are having good luck or not. What is debatable is the forces acting behind it; what caused this luck?

No,things happen in a preordained way luck doesn't influence this one way or the other. Luck is a human concept of perception when we don't know the end result of a certain action.E.g Look at the weather many years ago if you went out in a t shirt and shorts and it rained you might think I've been unlucky as the weather is a random chain of events, but as technology moves on we realise there is nothing random about the weather it can be predicted therefore t shirts and shorts on a sunny day, umbrellas and raincoats etc on a rainy day this now becomes fact and no luck is involved what so ever.

I used to believe in good luck and bad luck. Now I believe in destiny and fate. Perhaps it is just a revelation that most things are outside of my direct or indirect control.
I think we can experience periods where things do not work out as we would have liked. That does not mean it is good or bad luck, as we do not know fully the consequences of what would have happened if history had followed a different parallel to the one in which we are on.
We can also experience periods where things do work out as we wanted. This does not mean good luck, and could in fact turn out to be very unlucky. Sometimes what we want is bad luck, and sometimes what we don't want turns out to be good luck. It really depends on how you define success!
Who is to say that someone who wins the lottery, and appears to have everything except what he wants is any more successful than someone in poverty but who has found happiness?

I believe in luck. I believe in destiny and fate. I think there are times when we just happen to be in the right place at the right time. Do I believe in bad luck? I guess in a way I do. I'm all about balance so if there is good luck then there is bad. But I think bad luck is more about karma and negative energy. If you're out there putting out bad energy then you shouldn't be surprised at what you're getting. I have "good" luck everytime I buy a lottery ticket and win. LOL

Luck really exists. Some times I work hard but no rewards. At times when I do nothing I get rewarded.During 1995-1998 I worked hard for my institution, remarkable results achieved and did not get promotion or increase in pay.1999-2000 I did not do much work, results were below standard, but in 2001 got promoted. If it is not play of luck and bad luck I do not understand why it was so.

in the new scients, luck is nothing but the imagination of us about things that aare happening. they say: the way u think about something, will be the only way that that matter will be happened. and if u correct the way u think, u can really make a big change in ur life. but in my oppinion, everyone had had luck just once. and that is the day which our future were going to be made
NOTICE: "the day which our future were going to be made" I'm not originally american and i didnt know the exact relating word to explain this phrase.

Yes... after reading this just see if i am right. If you treat someone bad, someone else will treat you bad. If you do something nice for someone your luck starts to change for the better. When something is really getting you down and you're at rock bottom. Instead of feeling sorry for yourself and things just get worse, then snapping at people, treating other people bad try making someone else happy. Go see your really old nan or uncle who dont get many visitors any more. You get my drift, but put it into practice and you will see your luck change dramatically.

Absolutely positive, if by "luck" you mean the common meaning. At least up to now, I can name some aspects of verybody's life in which, "luck" plays a significant role and has the upper hand; just consider your genetic set-up! In a natural process of conception, nobody knew or could decide for this special set of genes which have made you up!
