Get a "Tide to Go" pen. It works wonders. This applies only if you have not washed the pants yet. If you washed them, you're pretty much stuck with the stain.

I just bought a tide to go pen and it seems to work on everything, try that. If you ever spill something on your clothes that your worried about staining, as soon as you have a chance dampen the spot w/ cold water and lightly scrub the area w/ dawn dishsoap. Lightly at first you don't want the spot to spread.

Use WD-40 to break down the ink then wash the clothing in a regular wash after pre treating the spot.

saturate the pen stain with hairspray and let it dry before you put it in the wash. I used to be a waitress, and when I got pen on my uniform that always did the trick.

You can remove ink stains on cloth by placing lemon juice directly onto the spot. Allow to sit overnight before laundering as usual. Repeat if necessary.

start by spraying hair spray on the mark and then soak it in cold water. Then use pure olive oil soap on the mark if you can find some. If not, try to spray on Vanish or something like that but really pure olive oil soap is the best.
hope i helped

I find that Greased Lightening & scrub brush gets out many stains, even set-in ink stains on clothing. Also for pet & carpet stains Woolite has a two good products

If it is regular ball point pen ink, just saturate it with hair spray and scrub it with an old tooth brush. Then you can launder it as usual. If it is permanent marker, you're just SOL. (sorry)
GOOD LUCK!!

Crest toothpaste rubbed in, then wash in cool water and detergent, rubbing a little. Worked on a white shirt for me.
