Why? Has every woman in your country knocked you back, so that you now have to find one elsewhere?

That's an interesting question. I'm foreign because I live in Hungary, Europe and I was born here too. I lived in the US for 6 years, that's why my english is good. I think foreign people have a lot of qualities that many american women don't in culture, family backround, personality, knowledge and so on. This really depends on you though on how you get along and how well you know each other. There are a lot of different women out there all with unique qualities and personalities whether they are foreign or not.

from where you are and from where she is.
Depends on the both of you. What are the differences. Is she from another continent, is she speaking same language, is she having a different religion.
I always say that any couple has to work hard to make it work as men and women are different, your upbringing is different etc. But it is even harder when the culture, religion, habits are so different.
If it is worth it that is for the both of you to decide. How are the families thinking about it and friends.
I just give you common advise, just be together, spent time, and when you face maybe some problems together you Will get the answer if your relation is strong enough.

My wife is from Vietnam, she is great and I doubt anyone could compare.
I have heard of foreign wives trying to take American men for a financial ride. I went to a divorce hearing with one of my wife's friends. She was from the Philippines, the judge congratulated the woman about reaching the US then proceeded to award custody of their child and all of the assets to the man. I live close to an Air Force base, so I am sure that the judge was more aware than most but I think most people know the score.
I say go for it; you have nothing to lose. American women throw out the sex slave racist notion because hey cannot compete with foreign women.

My neighbor has done it three times, and they screwed him financially two of the three times...he moved after he married the third one, but I'm guessing she will too.
(*shrug*) You have to ask yourself WHY you want to marry someone from a foreign country. If it's because you think you can get someone you can control who will be grateful, then you've got issues..and you'll deserve it if she's only marrying you to get in this country and be able to stay.
It's one thing if you fell in love with someone in another country, but you sound like one of those men who is looking for a foreign bride because you think it's going to be easier on your ego.

If you love her. Yes. You can bring her to where you are, get married and then you have to start immigrtaion for her, or vice versa if you go there.
