This is a great question and I am still working on the answer, I was always misled by what I *thought* happiness should be. I was always trying to get to the next thing to find my own happiness. "I'll be happy if....(this happens)." I guess the right answer is to find true happiness within myself and know that no one can make me happy and it is up to me to find my own contentment. There's a line in a Sheryl Crow song that I think sums it up, "It's not having what you want, it's wanting what you've got." I think that is true happiness, being happy with who you are.

" it's one thing, i never said. im truly happy in my heart and in my head" who knows what happiness is.... i love seeing all the pompous twits chime in with their heady remarks, thinking that they know something. happiness is fleeting at best. i define true happiness as, the bits and pieces of time between the crappy rest of your life.
