How absolutely ridiculous your statement is...
I'll tell you what... I would gladly get our young men and women out of that region of the world. The last two years have proven one thing to me... We have wasted our time and money trying to bring the Shiite and Sunni Iraqi citizens a a more peaceful way of life. I say turn the north over to the Kurds, they appear to be the only sect in Iraq that do not behave like barbarians. Hell, turn the whole country of Iraq over to the Kurds. It's the only hope that country has for a meaningful future. Let the Sunni and Shiite population annilhate each other. They would be doing the rest of the world a favor.
Do I sound insensitive and somewhat bitter? YOU BETCHA ! I believed it was the right thing to do, go into Iraq and help the people there. I would have given my own life to protect and serve the Iraqi people if it meant that I was helping to make the world a more peaceful place free from terrorism. Your insinuation of crimes being committed by our men and women only PROVES that you and your kind aren't worth what it has cost us. Where is a good shoe when you need it to slap someone with it!
We should have known that the first time we saw thousands of Iraqi's standing in the streets pounding on their chests like psychotic apes that maybe it was a bad idea trying to do something right for them. I guarantee one thing, *If* we knew 5 years ago what we do today, the American people wouldn't be so supportive of trying to help the Iraqi's out again.

The Americans believed their intervention in Iraq would do good for the people of Iraq, now, if they cut and run, the backlash on US stand will be terrible

So you watch TV, listen to the liberal slant and swallow everything that is said. Think for yourself and try and appreciate the sacrifices of Americans defending your rights.

First of all, the soldiers I know DON'T commit crimes and they DON'T kill each other.
Second, the ones that do are not approved of by the President.
Third, most of the killing in Iraq is due to the insurgents.
Fourth, the US TRIED letting the rest of the world "live in peace." WWII was the result.
Fifth, it isn't a game, and Iraq wasn't any more peaceful before we went in, unless you count tens of thousands (perhaps more) being gassed to death by Hussein as peaceful.
Or maybe the rape rooms were peaceful. Yeah, that must be it.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not "for" the war in Iraq PER SE, but I'm not "against" it either.
I just don't think anyone has any idea what's going on there unless they're THERE, or have been in the last few years.
