And current value? Does anyone have a photo of this particular guitare which has rosewood neck and Fender decal.

It's a cheap guitar, and not worth a lot. Depending on the condition of the guitar, I would say between $75 and $100 at the most. I can buy one of those new along with an amp, cord, and extra strings for less than $200. So you see, it's just not worth much. Good Luck!

From my understanding, from 1984 to 1988 would be the date that your guitar most likely would fall under. Fender Squier strats from 1989 and up do not have the quality as the earlier models.

I hate to burst your bubble but Squier strats aren't worth very much. You can buy one new for a little more than $100. Go to Musicians Friend.com and check out their prices. You can probably find one just like yours on there. They have the best prices around.
