do we have an accent to english people. dont hate me! ive just wondered cuz to us they have an accent so i though maybe we have one to them. and im not trying to be mean.

I'll presume you are American then. Yes, you have such a strong accent it is unbelievable, anyone could pick it up anywhere. Though of course I would think that I do not have an accent (I am English) but it just depends where you live. I think if you live somewhere and you speak with a different accent to everyone else, then you 'have an accent' and they don't, if you get me.

EVERYONE has an accent to a person froma different area. A person from New York has an accent to a person from Kentucky and visa versa but Nyers don't think they have accents and Kentucky people think they speak normally. the same goes for the person from Maine.
People who specialize in liguistics can tell where you live by how yu talk. What part of the country you live in. Even if you think that you speak without an accent.

what do u mean? i take it ur american yes? is so of course u have an accent! american accents hardly sound the same as an english one do they. I wish I had an american accent, it's so nice/cool! it's the same as Scottish vs. English vs. Irish vs. Welsh.

Say "ah" while you bite up and down on the inside of your cheeks. My French friend told me that's what the U.S. accent sounds like.
