How do you fell If you are a child in the middle of war?

I think a child would feel under a lot of stress. In fact, people tend to under-estimate how much a child can feel. Stressful situations can cause them to always remember those times afterwards. Chidren need a routine and to feel secure. Once this is disrupted as in war, it makes them worry about themselves as a family as a whole and even about their personal belongings- even though toys and things in adult eyes may seem unimportant, to the child they are part of home and enjoyment in life. Togetherness for them is very important to their sense of well being.

I don't know - maybe you should interview some of the children being shelled by terrorist rockets in Northern Israel. I remember nearly getting blown up at 17 - but I was a US citizen and got to go home.

Parents are frightened try to protect you. You see others hurt and killed. People you love are mutilated and/or die. Your home is destroyed. You have no place to stay. You're hungry. There is terrible danger everywhere. And that's just the beginning. It might go on for years and keep getting worse.

Confused, since such problems are beyond the understanding of an inexperienced child.

first I would cry , I would wounder with a childish mind why do these people shooting each other ? they look the same as each other in these stuiped uniforms so why do they shoots each other? ... and I wouldn't mind getting killed as i am a child and i don't know what is death
