depending on the age of your car, most newer cars have a cover over the whole to your tank. If you have one of those I think you're okay. If it's open then you should take your car to a mechanic and have the tank drained. Bet you wont forget to put the cap back on now!

You can either get a siphon and extract all of your gas, or you could also drop in a bottle of HEET which is an isopropyl alcohol that will absorb the water and allow your engine to safely consume the gas/water/heet mixture. Most people use it to help with any water in the gas tank in the winter so it doesn't freeze up your lines.
And yes, there is such a thing as dry gas...it's a common name for ethanol.

It surely depends on the amount of water that went into your tank. If it is a matter of a few drops, then there is nothing to worry about because the water trap in your tank will eventually deal with the extra water.
If the quantity is big, then I would advice you to empty your tank and then refill it again to prevent the water from getting into the engine and therefore harming the fuel filters, injectors and inner engine componants.

There would be little enough water that dry gas should solve the problem. If it was larger amounts, draining the tank would be in order.

Put some DRY GAS in it. Should take care of it.
DO NOT EVER PUT SALAD DRESSING IN YOUR GAS TANK!!! Salad dressing isn't a substitute for gasoline! LOL

DRY GAS? COME ON PEOPLE, THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS DRY GAS. THERE IS GASOLINE. DRAIN YOUR TANK TO BE ON THE SAFE SIDE, THEN PUT NEW GAS WITHOUT WATER(NOT DRY GAS) AND IT WOULDN'T HURT TO ADD SOME SEA FOAM(BUY AT ANY PARTS STORE)TO THE TANK.IT WILL REMOVE ANY WATER DROPLETS LEFT IN THE TANK.
