My husband and I have been trying to have a baby for some time now. I don't have the most reqular periods, but its been a while since my last one so I figured that i would go ahead and check to see if I was or not. I took 2 pregnancy test and they both said yes. I called the doctor and made an appointment, which isn't until the middle of september. And just for curiousity sakes I took a 3rd test to see what it said, it said that I wasn't pregnant. This now has me worried that I am not pregnant. Has anyone had this happen before?

ok first thing is first does your body feel different? Yous should treat yourself now as if you were carrying..until you get your first results from the doctor...I have had that happen before and the best thing to do is to wait to take the test with your first morning urine....It will have the strongest level of hormones in it...This is how i always new if the test was right or wrong...And you dont have to take the most expensive one either...I bought the dollar store kind and it worked all three pregnancys......So wait until the morning and take it first time you get up to go to the restroom...Hope this was helpful and please let me know the results...My family has said a prayer for you and your husband...GOOD LUCK

More likely to have a false negative than a false positive.......and the "over the counter" pregnancy tests are pretty accurate!! I remember for my first pregnancy I must have spent $100 in pregnancy tests, just because I didn't trust them, but my doctor told me they are quite accurate, within about 2 weeks after you conceive (I mean, you can be only 2 weeks pregnant and the tests will be accurate). Congratulations!!!!!!

Yes, none of the pregnancy tests are 100% accurate. I have found that FirstResponse is the best one on the market. Try and rest and monitor any symptoms you may have of being pregnant. Write everything down so you can tell your doctor everything, without forgetting anything in the stress of the moment. Good luck to you.

Yeah, it's happened before. These tests work based on detecting a particular hormone in your system. If you are really worried, take one more test first thing in the morning, (with urine that has accumulated overnight). That specimen will have the most concentrated amounts of the hormone, and even a little of the pregnancy hormone means you ARE pregnant.

Good luck

yes..

i have regular periods, and i think it was 4 months back when i missed my period, and so i did a pregnancy test and it was positive..so as excited as i was and thinking that i was delayed for almost 2 months so I am a bit sure that I could be conceiving, I informed my husband and his family.. but when I went to the doctor to have my blood tested it turned out that I am not pregnant..

yes...did you take the same pregnancy test?? When you go to the pharmacy, maybe you can ask for the most popular kind. in the meantime, lessen your physical activity and dont try not to get stressed.

if you want to know that you are pregnant then do 3 things first smile if you can then you are not pregnant if you can`t sile then you are second raise up your hands if you can then you are not if you can`t then you are. third ask your husband to give 2-5 words to read if you can read it propely then you are not if you can`t then you are.

You do NOT get a false positive reading. If it said your pregnant, you'r pregnant. You can only get false negatives
