pink shirt and pink tie

2006-08-26 00:16:22 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 1 0

I would go for white or beige a neutral colour or even light grey/silver depending on the trousers shade and a tie to match the blazer or trousers or a tie that is a bit patterned with the colours pf the tie and blazer.

Stay away from Black (Shoes it's ok) as Black and Navy do not match and a miss match of colours like adding Pink even though it is in it goes with grey but not really with navy will make you look like your grandad.

Over do it and you can end up looking like an idiot. It's a hard decision and you have to make it wisely.

I would say to go no tie and to get a white No collar button up shirt. You know the shirts that come up to your next to your neck, but has no lapel. Then you leave it open a little...NOT TO MUCH. You know like you see the models doing...they look all suave. Otherwise I would say go for a white shirt and a tie that has Navy and Grey in it. Add some other colors to the time to so that it doesn't look so blah. Personally though. I think if you are looking to go bold with colors. Your suit would look best in one color. Like either Navy blazer with navy trousers or Grey trousers and blazer. just my opinion though. I hope I helped ya. Good luck!

Personally i do not think pink is a good choice for these mixed colours.

I would suggest to keep your shirt to a clean white or extremely light blue.

I also think when choosing a tie a light grey stripe with a touch of navy in will make the outfit look really good and match perfectally.

An English gentleman with sartorial elegance would choose a white shirt over any other colour. Your tie should be representative of your regiment or club or association. The Alan Patridge Blazer Badge and Tie combination is always well received visually.. There are still quite a few available, but the boxes are a little faded because promises made to him about storage were not kept.

why you wearing mid grey trousers with a navy blazer? Is it a uniform of somesort? Anyway, a nice pale grey shirt with a navy tie would look good, or something bright and you can;t go wrong with a good white shirt with a pin/purple tie.

pink shirt definately...you culd try a pale blue/grey cravat instead of a tie, but if you must a tie, then go for navy/ pale blue and grey striped... if not, a pale blue tie on it's own. avoid, green, red, yellow, orange with this combination.
if you don't have a pink shirt then go for the pale blue.... this will open the door to a red and pale blue striped or dotted tie. but still stay away for green, orange and yellow.
it might be time for you to look for easier trousers to go with a blazer.
good luck.

well i saw couple of answers below, but Peter, it all depends on the occasion and your personality, though a pink is really hot , even a light blue with a blue tie will not hurt a conservationist. So in case you want some more help, mail me at tikibumba@yahoo.com

If you want a traditional look suggest white shirt, dark blue or red tie.

Modern look would suggest pastel coloured shirt, pale blue, lemon, lilac even pink or such like but no tie - cool.

Hope this helps.
