Hi
Yes to a certain extent but try to control your weight with the help of this plan so here goes,
If you are serious about losing weight, the calories in the food you eat should be less than the energy you use. You will have to increase your metabolic rate now, and plan your diet carefully.
Formulate your own weight loss plan and you will lose weight faster. More details available at http://tinyurl.com/m7ckx

Good luck

I sympathize darling, I take it the divorce was stressful and you are obviously depressed. You are obviously eating 'comfort food' which I guarantee is all naughty stuff. Sit down and make a list of 'good foods' before you shop. Think of all the things you were 'gonna' do one day and start off with one or two. You need to start your life afresh - it takes effort, but trust me it will be worth it. Got a good girlfriend that can support you? If not - e-mail me! Let's start shedding those unwanted pounds!

Stress or depression can affect alot of changes in your body, and feelings. What your going through is alot of changes which is unfortunately trying to sort out yourself and what's happening in your life. I went through a divorce myself and all I can say is you have to take good care of yourself. It's not something that's easy to explain or try to say what you have to do, but what helped me alot is to have FAITH, learn to accept yourself as a good person, not allow others to make you feel lesser of a person, exercise, and fight for your life to get back to normal or fight to make your life better up ahead. It's could be a long or short process - only you can make that difference.

Yes. Stress comes with elevated hormone levels and that messes with your metabolism.

Go running and make yourself some endorphins. Not all is done by emotions. You can do something about it just by will.

Yes, stress does contribute to making one fat.
Try some exercise earlier in the day to help you sleep at night.
