It's looking like Bush will take the lead before his presidency is over from the stats I have read, but between Iraq and Afghanistan Bush has already surpassed over 250,000. You could also go back and add from the first Gulf War losses of the Iraqis, and it would be close to 300,000 lost. Including all of the American and allies together. This isn't a bit nice I don't think myself, but war isn't very nice is it! The Veterans Administration has reports of close to 3000 dead Americans, and over 50,000 wounded with 15,000 amputees. Not good is it?

Just for starters I heard on the news in Saddam's trial proceedings that 150,000 Kurds were killed by the dictator's military forces. He apparently, unlike our people, made little or no effort to avoid 'collateral' damage.
Most of the killing going on in Iraq today is Sunni vs Shia violence fueled by Iranian money and influence. If Iran can get the US out of Iraq before it is stablilized, they will control the whole middle east. Then the killing will start in earnest.
