Purely coincidental. Don't read too much into it. He probably was bored and needed something to read. If he hasn't contacted you, whatever you do don't contact him. It opens up too many old wounds, you might not be ready to deal with.

well thats a hard one seeing nobody knows what cluthing a book means!
Does it mean tearing it up or does it mean holding it tight to his heart?
Tell us what cluthing is?

properly, positioned urself in his shoes. would u nevertheless be bitter after 2 years if ur bf did what u did to ur ex? He won't have anymore thoughts and is over u yet he must be harm with the help of what u did to him. that is rather shrink-throat of u to even ask if he remains bitter with reference to the previous. I sense that u do no longer even sense undesirable or to blame approximately it. appears like it became into in basic terms awkward and unusual for u cuz ur the only at fault. yet who cares somewhat cuz he's ur ex-bf. "ex" is the biggest-word right here, so in basic terms brush it off. U do no longer see him or his buddies on a ordinary foundation suited?

He prob appreciates an likes the book. If he wanted to be with you he wouldnt be your ex an he would of invited you to sit with him at restuarant. Depends how long ago you broke up. Wait an see.

holding or clutching? maybe u r looking to much into the whole situation-maybe it's a good book or maybe....... instead of making assumptions why not call to ask him if he still likes u or why he was "clutching" the book u gave him (maybe seeing u made him nervous so he "clutched" what he had in his hand)

maybe he just need the book ...it is not necessarily that he likes you ....why you broke up in the first place?...did he see you.? pass by...did he give you the eye like giving you the look that he miss you or want you ....whatever happens think on why you broke up with him in the first place....and ask your self do you want to go back.....to where he can start again..good luck

Hmmmm..... Get a grip on yourself. For sure, he likes the book you gave, other than that, its never safe to assume. Otherwise, he would have told you already. :)
