As an English fan, I think Daryll Hair has a history of being an overbearing umpire. I used to bowl as an amateur cricketer, and polished and picked at the seam like every other medium / fast bowler I've ever known.
We were being well beaten by a better team on the day, but I do think Inzi should have brought his men out to play. I don't blame him for being upset, he's a cricketer I like, but Hair is a bad umpire, and as an international captain he should have risen above this - there are paying fans to consider. However, Hair should have allowed play to go on once the Pakistani team took to the field. Just a bad umpire - it'll be worth half a million to get rid of him.

he is te umpire it is his job to check the ball for tampering, the other umpire agreed .
the Pakistanis refused to come out on to the field, the laws of the game tell him what to do, he did it.
Hair knew the ball would be reviewed by the ICC so he and the other rump ire BOTH must have thought it was tampered with
the Pakistani manager admitted the Pakistani team made a mistake by not coming on to the field in time
Hair is paid to do a job and he did it.
International cricket is where the riles are applied not some low grade game where the pick the seam.
Hair is under contract it is normal that if you leave your contract early you get paid out
The Pakistanis have been fined before fo ball tampering

I think the Umpire should be shot. England were getting well and truly beaten by Pakistan - how cheap that the Umpire had to raise there false accusation. There were 25 TV cameras following every moment and every angle. There was absolutely no sign of ball tampering.
Talk about Bad loosers - England takes the cake and the umpire is an outright racist who should be banned from the noble sport.

In the presence of 26 cameras in the ground, why Hair could not produce any proof of ball tempering.
As the latest news reveal, Mr. Hair (the so called MR CLEAN) has asked for US $ 500,000.00 from ICC to quit. Does not this provide sufficient reason to understand the whole drama behind the stage?
