I know that in London some parts of the city have lanes exclusively for buses. Are there any cities where buses have their own lane all over the city?

Yes a lot of cites in Europe have bus lanes, here in Edinburgh Scotland we have them, but they are not continuous, which makes them fairly pointless, they mostly operate from 8am till 6:30pm. They have crowded all the cars into one lane which doesn't help traffic flow at all. The council (local authority) are totally against cars and have closed off endless streets and made dozens of 'no left turn, 'no right turn' and other restrictions, forcing all cars, vans, lorries into remaining (mostly narrow)streets, all under the guise of 'improving traffic flow', what they are trying to do is make people use public transport, the problem is that the existing transport system (busses only) is rubbish. There is supposed to be a tram system in place in a few years, but no doubt it will never happen as they will waste the money on speed bumps or more road sign to hide the road signs that are covering up road signs, or thousands of gallons of paint for double yellow lines. The city is a complete mess and I'm ashamed and embarassed of it, god knows what visitors, especially those in cars think.
