Hello deemy b, i read your question and i can answer this , threes no real full proof way of stopping the smell of the garlic entirely, but if you take heaps of parsley and eat that after having the garlic and eat the parsley every so often afterwards it counteracts the smell from the garlic and will reduce it quite much, the odorless garlic pills dont work completely and the smell is still detected after taking them on certain people and its lost the real potency of allicin from the garlic that stregthens the immune system from colds etc, i could also suggest taking manuka honey +20 or even better +30 you can find this in the health food shops and its very effective and boosting the immune system as its got anti bacterial, anti viral, antiseptic, qualities , its a medicinal type of honey from new zealand. Also take some beta carotene, olive capsules,or liquid and chelated zinc all from the health food shop these things are the best for boost the immune system and boosting the respiratory system as well , so i hope all this helps you and take very good care , bye ps ohh and those products i mentioned are not that expensive as well, only the manuka might be as due to shipping costs into the shops

There is a great way to eliminate the smell of garlic.
Peel the garlic and put the cloves in a little saucepan and add some milk. (just enough to cover it) Bring it to a boil. Drain it and eat. No smell, no fuss, perfect.

There is no way to avoid that, other than eating odorless garlic.
These are sold at some supermarkets but mostly health food stores.
Sure, garlic is good but don't over do it too much because it is STRONG and you don't want your stomach going crazy. Be sure to take it with some water (probably unavoidable) or maybe a meal.
Good luck.

If you don't want to smell garlic when you want it there are two options you can eat mild elephant garlic which often grows as
big as tomatos. or open a couple bottles of vanilla and put them near where you are cutting your garlic if you are cutting. Just be careful you don't spill your vanilla. There's another just cover your nose while you eat the garlic! I love taste of garlic but my doctor told me to cut down cause of too low cholesteral!

I didn't get the vanilla thingy!! mouth wash, brushing...nope, they will never help, just won't let you smell yourself, others will
The only thing that keep your friends while you enjoy your meal is to eat immediately after your meal a good bunch of greens i.e. parsley, mint.. chew it thoroughly ( I mean thouroughly) repeat couple of times, it's even healthy, you might follow either by an apple and/or coffee..

Um, to prevent it I suggest NOT chewing. So chop it up into small pieces and just swallow. Of course, this way you won't be able to taste much, but it will really reduce the smell.

You can also have some Extra chewing gum afterwards, or use mouthwash, or both.

Sorry. That is why you don't catch colds. NO ONE will get near enough to you to give you a cold. hmmmmm.
Nothing you can do except hang around with other people who enjoy garlic.

Brush your teeth after, then have some mouthwash or go for a mint candy...a bubblegum also helps. Juz remember the benefits you get outweighs the bad breath it gives. :-)
