wow, thanks for the super feedback.

of the people mentioned, i think i've seen them all on TV. Dave Chappelle cracks me up the most, and it doesn't hurt that the guy is a genius. i think Carlos Mencia is probably the funniest guy working at this instant.

of course, i appreciate the classics (Carlin, Murphy, Pryor).

and sometimes i'm embarrassed to admit it, but i have seen and really enjoyed the Blue Collar DVDs. not a big fan of what i saw of Larry, but Engvall, Foxworthy, and White are all terrific.

i have a Dave Attell Insomniac DVD to watch now, and yours to pick from for tonight!

The Blue Collar Comedy Tour which features Larry the Cable Guy, Bill Engvall (here's your sign guy) Ron White and Jeff Foxworthy (you might be a redneck if........) I saw these guys perform at the Louisville Palace. The DVD is good, but there's just something about being there in person that is so much better.

While not really a comedian, Henry Rollins spoken word stuff is hysterical. "Get In the Van", "Live From London" and "Talking From The Box" are three that I can't get enough of.

Other awesome ones include:

Sam Kinison: "Leader of The Banned"
Carlos Mencia: "Take A Joke America"
Denis Leary: "Locked And Loaded"
