I created another user on my computer and once the user logs on the computer the following message is displayed. Any help?
"THE LOCAL POLICY OF THE SYSTEM DOE NOT PERMIT YOU TO LOGON INTERACTIVELY"

Problem was that user tried to access his pc remotely and he was not in that group of remote desktop

Check out their permissions. You should be able to administer the user.

As an administratove user, click on Start then Run and type in gpedit.msc (group policy editor) Expand out Computer Configuration then Windows Settings then Security Settings then Local Policies. Look under the folder that says "User Rights Assignment" Log at what is in the list of "Deny local logon" and "Local Logon". DON'T change anything else unless you know what you are doing. As with all major system changes, backup everything first!

Go to your local security policy and change to allow login remotely, to do this go to Start - Control Panel - Administrative Tools - Local Security Policy,

once you open Local Security Policy, expand the Local Policy then click User Rights Agreement

On the right panel you can modify the files to allow the user to login were they need to.

That is because your adminstrator has disabled the Feature....... log in usign admin account and right click my computer > choose manage> choose user accounts and set the desired Rights to your new user.

restart the pc as it is starting up keep taping the f8 key fast very fast then your come to a menu load up in safe mode when your back on the user account login screen in safe mode just click on the ADMINISTRATOR ACCOUNT USER ID and it will log in your be on the desktop in safe mode now click on start /control panel
then click on user accoun icon
then click on the user id you set up and click on remove password if there is not a option to remove the password just click on creat password then when that is set come back to the desktop and click on start /shut down then click on restart computer
then when your at the user account login screen again click on that new id and put in the passwrd if you made one then just login if that dont work try this and it will

get you back in to your windows xp user account if you forget you user
account password

TO GET BACK IN TO YOUR USER ACCOUNT DESKTOP
if you dont have a user COMPUTER ADMINISTRATOR ACCOUNT USER ID
shut down the computer remove the power cable
take the computer cover off
now look in side the computer
next to the computer motherboard or nxt to it

there is a silver battery it is a silver clip silver battery
you remove the silver battery wait for 1 minute .. 1 minute not 30 seconds you must keep the silver battery off for 1 minute then you put the silver battery back on then you put the cover back on the computer then you put the power cable back on the power point at the back of the computer then you restart your computer
and you will come back to the user account login screen click on your user account and windows xp will login with out asking for the user account password then you click on start /control panel click on user account icon ... then you click on your user account icon and creat a new password ..windows xp with all your settings
windows xp with all your settings will be as they was befor you lost your password all your desktop settings and files will still be there ...then restart your pc for settings to be saved... no need to format the hard drive at all
