i have a friend trishna she shares with me some secrets which she doesn't share with her (so called)best friend abanti. trishna likes me more than abanti so,abanti inspite of jelousy spreading some bad rumors against me to trishna. but trishna doesnt believe those rumors.So what can I do with abanti?

U spread rumors against abanti in d whole friend circle. If u cant do that request trishna 2 kick off abanti from her life.

you just tell abanti not to spread rumours like this.and tell her dat if her best friend trishna,doesnt wanna share her secrets with her,she shud talk straight to trishna only rather than spreading rumours.and if she is jealous of u and trishna,leave her and tell trishna also to leave her.If u can understand trishna's feelings and will not let out her secrets,perhaps u both can b best frens.

except her for what she is to you ,trishna's friend not your's respect your friends [trishna] choies of friends , cus if you disrespect her friends your disrespecking her and all things always come out in the open sooner or later

I think you should ask abanti why she is doing it. If she says she is not doing it, get some other friends to hear that. Those who hear will start not believing abanti and the word will get around. If she says doing it and there is a valid reason, explain her why what she is doing is wrong. If the reason is not valid, have some other friends listen to it as well.
If you can not handle dealing with Abanti, just ignore her and let some other buddies of yours kill the rumermill.

ignore her....when u & trishna understand eachother very well.there is nothing to panic or worry about.true friendship
