what is correct to do besides using more and more VHT?

ok, i know how to make my car hook. im asking how to i help the track prepare the racing surface to bite back? i have been asked for assistance and dont know what i should do besides spraying VHT on the track.

Just keep it clean. Free of dust or dirt. The asphalt should be in good condition as well. Track temp will effect traction as well.


I wish you had not asked a drag question today. It just reminds me of how I broke the 5 speed in my Z24 3 months ago.

The few tracks I go to, that is all they do. Spray a little VHT on the track and scrape some excess rubber off once in a while. I have not seen any other tricks used to clean the starting line.

Do burnouts for a patch of rubber. Back car up & on top of the burnout!
