very hard to find work overseas for information technology graduates. the best advise i would give fresh graduates is to take up nursing. no future in other courses, unless as previously noted, you want to work at jollibee.

If you are planning to workl abroad, experience is necesarry.Having relatives is not of much help. You should have the skills, talent and experiences. IT is very in demand in the Philipines. There are a lot of job opening here.
No offense meant but you may lack the skills and talent that the company needs. First, are you a graduate of a reputable school? Having a diploma is not a passport for easy employment. Then name of school where you graduated is a big factor. Second, do you have high grades? becuase most companies will ask for a copy of your transcript of records. Third, do you have a good communication skills? Even if you are good technically, if you cant express yourself properly, its a minus factor on the interview.

Good luck!!

I do advise that you should have to get work experience here in Philippines first before aiming to work abroad. There is a slim chance for you to work in IT related job overseas if you don't have any work experience yet even if you have relatives abroad. Why don't you try applying in BPO companies a lot of them are looking for IT graduates. The best part of working in a BPO company is that they provide a lot of training which gives you additional knowledge and exposure in a multi-cultural environment

Oh man use your instict, there to much hiring for IT abroad. My advice work first in the local to earn experience even small paid work but must be related to your course for at least 2 years. Without experience it is very difficult to apply for abroad. After that apply simultaneously both in the manpower agency or through internet. It is your life you plan for so do the best thing you can do..

Hope this answer your question..

Try job agencies like jobsdb.com, careerasia, monster.com. If you have US in your mind...Its difficult to get an IT job here. Try Singapore or Canada-( you need to have relatives here to get more points).

Maybe it's time for SONNY_TOO_MUCH to go back to the U.S.--where his increasing crankiness and growing bitterness can be treated with powerful sedatives.
