The five elements in the universe are- water, fire, earth, wind and ether. The day the Lord will desire to finish the Universe- the earth would dissolve the earth in water, water would evaporate with fire which would turn to vapour, This vapor would be blown by the wind and merge with the ether, thus the universe would come to an end.

Actually only two, heaven and earth, heaven being the spiritual side of the universe and earth the physical side of the universe.

The physical side of the universe has a space/time/probability continuum in which matter can exist. This means that matter can exist in the form of different individuality structures in different modalities.

The universe doesn't consist only of fire, water, earth, wind and void, like people who watch too many cartoons on TV believe.
