I am not born in USA, I have been here 10 months from China. I am 15. can I be a judge?

Yes, you can. Jim I do not think your Chinese citizenship will be a problem or the fact you were not born in the USA. I do believe though to be a Judge you will have to go to school and become an attorney. Some Judges are elected, some are appointed. So at 15, work hard, graduate from high school, go to college and get ready for law school. Good luck

To be a judge here in the USA you must be a lawyer. As years go on and judges retire they are replaced. This being done by a lawyer being selected and his/her name being submitted and if this person meets the criteria then he/she will be appointed to the judgeship. But the bottom line is it is all about politics.

As a US citizen you have the right to pursue a position as a Judge. You must maintain yourself legally, finish law school, and be elected by your peers.

most judges are lawyers first so maybe you need to go to law school

No, your to young and you need to go to law school and be an attorney for a long time....
