I've hurd of people living off of gardens 5ft by 5ft, but how? This would be a good thing to know. And what to grow etc.

I think they are not just talking one of these gardens they are talking multiple gardens of this size. One for each thing you want to grow.

This is not realistic, you can not live on a crop garden but you can live from a farm or buy your food from the supermarket.

good soil. Also, why don't you talk to the people who have those gardens you speak of? They might be able to give you some tips and help!
