Why is it good to be different?

Different in sence of having dissability or having different cultural background or speaking different language etc...

There is a celebration in differences. If everyone was the same, this planet would be mighty boring.

Different could also mean, not following what the crowd does or wears. Nothing wrong with that either.

I have never striven to be different, but I suppose I am and always have been. I keep moving on, I'm a philosopher, a psychologist, I studied Theology, humanities, art, I speak seven languages, I have married 4 times in 3 countries. I own a hedonistic resort, my second. I have never been a sheep, never been a follower, always been an instigator. I have done things in my life that even I find hard to believe. A friend once told me, when I asked him why people always doubt my stories, "Tony, their disbelief is the highest form of flattery." My 360 is for those over 25 with no room for bigots or sheep, I bow to nobody. Tony in remotest Indo-China.

The world would be a pretty boring place if everybody spoke the same language,dressed the same and same personality`s.Everybody is unique `cause that's the way it is but being this way is not a bad thing.When you go abroad it`s great to see how other people live and to see their culture,try to speak their language which can be fun.Also having a disability is not something that you should look down upon either,their bravery is admirable and people should learn from this........Good luck in your journey of answers.

i love being different from other ppl. i'm different in the way that i love having fun, going crazy once in a while, y no the stripey socks and funky hair colours type of person i love being different in a way that i have to wear glasses (it shows i'm not perfect) whether you like it or not every1 is different (some ppl are just more different than others) so speaking a diff language having a diff background etc is exactly the same...ppl should be proud of who they are and where they come from etc...it makes life interesting...i would never want to be like EVERYBODY else they're just a load of clones but i guess the world is lucky in a way cuz there's only 1 of me!!

It is great to be diffrent cause if everyone was the same everything would be boring if we were all the same no one would think diffrently so when people go write stories or sumthin that would probably be boring to read cause it would be everyones opinion.but if it wasn't we'd all read into much more.besides if no one was diffrent we'd all dress alike and that wouldn't show any unique cool styles yah know!!!!!!if you speak a diffrent launguage its great too cause you could teach it to someone else if you knew more than 1 language there's lots of ways being diffrent has positive sides

I don't know what your asking here....I don't think people with disabilities want to be that way, so i would say they would think that was a good thing...People with different backgrounds and those who speck different languages are born where they are born and speak the native language, for them where they live that's normal and would be considered being different.

If we were all exactly the same, the world would be a very dull place. Difference and variety make the world a richer and more fufilling place to be.

"It's good to be different" means that you shouldn't try to hide the real you from the rest of the world. I personally don't think it means you should go out of your way to be a freak, either. Just be yourself, and the world will appreciate the variety you bring.

Because people will be takling about you no matter what. It's always those that are different that attract attention, for good or bad. If you have a weird name, be proud of it.
