Ihave a few boys and would like to try for a girl,does anyone know of any tried and tested ways or any information that would help me conceive a girl

There really isn't much you can do. The sperm determines if it is a boy or a girl. You have an 'X' chromosome for you eggs. The guys sperm contains either an 'X' chromosome or a 'Y' chromosome. An X will give you a girl, and a Y a boy. It just depends on which one gets to your egg first, but there isn't much you can do. None of those 'tricks' work. Good luck....and sorry there really aren't any special ways to make it work.

sperm carrying the female chromosome - X - prefer an acidic environment - so mad as this might sound, introducing a more acidic environment to the vagina is an often successful method, -such as douching with lemon juice and water,(prior to sex) and even eating more acidic food can help.
Sperm carrying the male chromosome - Y - prefer an alkaline environment and therefore are less likely to survive if it is more acidic- giving the X carrying sperm a better chance of fertilising the egg- (which is always X chromosome)
X+Y= BOY X+X= GIRL!!
Also, don't orgasm if you want a girl- sorry!- the fluid released at orgasm is alkaline and so a no no if you want to protect those acid favouring sperm!-Good luck!

Actually, I tried this and it worked! I got my baby girl. Unfortunately, she is 11 now and I can't remember how. It has to do with ovulation and how long the sperm lives. So you have to time when you have sex. If I remember correctly, the sperm which decides the girl's sex is stronger. I don't want to give you half remembered procedures, but if you do some research, there are books out there.

The fitter your bloke is the more chance you have of having a girl. Sounds strange but true!! Check out the olympic athletes, they almost always have girls. Get him down the gym!!

the TRUE WAY to have a girl is to have sex not on the day of ovulation, but befure you ovulate. it is a true method, i tried it even my sisters you get a girl! you need to check the temp and see that it is not higher than the days before. if you do it on 12 day after your period you will get a girl! try it! the other method are not true do sex slow.., or with the food thesea re mtyhs

you should just accept what you get as long as the baby is healthy it doesn't or shouldn't matter what sex it is, there is little you can do anyway, i've heard that its the man's sperm that denotes what the sex of the baby will be
