It's difficult question Italy won the title because it played as a one unit. but the best were Andrea pirlo and of course Fabio cannavaro. but we mustn't forget Fabio Grosso grosso was the man who create penalty shoot for Australia, he scored decisive goal against Germany and he shoot the final decisive penalty shoot against France.

Finally i think that best players were cannavaro in defense and Andrea pirlo in attacking but surely the most important player was Fabio Grosso he is new Paolo Rossi

there's a paintings rigidity over there. The Western Reds play interior the Jim Beam Cup. The NRL keeps telling us they choose the sport to strengthen and whilst they get a hazard to do a sprint project, now no longer some thing happens. a minimum of with the Rugby international Cup in 2003, video games have been finished around the country. Edit: Frank, i'm a league supporter even even with the shown fact that it relatively is in fact finished professionally in 3 international places : Aus, NZ and GB. it fairly is finished in France even even with the shown fact that the respected sport followers are interior the striking League. that's no longer finished professionally in a good number of international places.

Cannavaro contributed the most in terms of his playing skill and impact but in terms of who affected the outcome the most it would have to be Grosso. His dive in stoppage time against Australia basically gave Italy a game that could have easily gone either way in overtime.

I think there were three ppl who contributed the most to italy's win.
1) FABIO CANNAVARO- dazzling display of Defence. According to me he is the best defender in the world along with Nesta(I miss him) and if it wasnt 4 zizou he would definetely get Golden Ball. HA! those eyes
2) GIANLUIGI BUFFON- Brilliant Goalkeeping. Nice hair too. I especially like to pronounce his last name. hi hi hi
3) MARCO MATERAZZI(I know that u re not going to like this)- He did his part in the finals 4 Italy. First scored the equaliser then took Zidane out and ensured that Italy would win in the penalty shootout. There is nothing to talk abt his physical aspects. I like his tatoo though. 'LION'. LION INDEED

All of them, really. However, I believe that Fabio Cannavaro, Alessandro del Piero, Zambrotta, Andrea Pirlo and Marco Materazzi (didn't he score that goal in the final? and it hasn't anything to do with Zidane's stupid headbutt) were stand-outs.

Del Piero contributed to the team in terms of his experience--he's 31.

I'd say that Daniele de Rossi was good too, but then he was banned for four matches for elbowing Brian McBride, so he did not really contribute. He did, however, play for awhile in the finals having substituted Totti at the 61st minute and he took one of the penalty kicks too.

I think Fabio Cannavar as captain pulled off a great job!!

Mate its a teams game, cant give u one name for it, and if i have to i ll say the Captain cause hes the captain of the ship. All of em played so well even though their teams were going through some serious action back in Italian Leaga.... Congrats to all....

Of course,Fabio Grosso.Though I don't support Italia,I think he is an extremely excellent player. He played in second division until he is 25 or 26,but he succeeded anyway. He made the very penalty in second round and scored the most heart-breaking goal for me,cuz I support Germany.Anyway,I like this guy and wish him good luck in Inter.
